Creador del estilo musical Hikwa, una fusión de hip-hop y kwaito.
Amigo de The Dogg, alcanzó la fama después de colaborar con Gazza en la canción “Koko” en 2004.
Gazza creó el sello Gazza Music Productions y quiso ficharlo, pero Sunny lo rechazó y fichó por The Dogg’s Mshasho Productions. Esto es el origen del conflicto entre Gazza y The Dogg.
Consolida su fama con el single “Balance” en 2005, demostrando que el kwaito es más que sonido y repetir palabras. Acaba de nacer el Hikwa.
Aunque anteriormente otros artistas sudafricanos, como Zola, Kabelo, Mandoza, Brown Dash y Brickz, habían rapeado en kwaito, Sunny fue el primero en popularizarlo en Namibia.
En 2006 crea su propio sello GreenHouse Entertainment, llamado Yaziza Entertainment en 2008.
Embajador de la Namibia Red Cross Society’s para los jóvenes.
Su técnica de rapeado incluye rimas multisilábicas, muy elaboradas e inteligentes, utilizando la metáfora. Mezcla 3 idiomas (Inglés, Afrikaans y Oshiwambo) sin perder el ritmo y el hilo de la idea.
